New login server goes live: finally, password resets!
This has been a while in the making, but at least one major bit of Dress to Impress has now entirely moved to the new server: accounts. Both the main server and beta server now run through the new OpenNeo ID server to log in.
This new server brings in all of the features that login should have had in the first place: password resets, changing password/e-mail, etc. Plus, it’s prettier, and has a few neat extra perks: access the login server directly via http://id.openneo.net/ to change settings, and, if you just logged in to the main server, logging in to the beta server is one click. These nifty goodies treat DTI and DTI beta as two separate applications (which is what they are!), which allows us to look the future and easily use the same accounts on future OpenNeo projects.
Of course, the new login system is in beta, so there may be issues. (I myself had an issue logging in after the transfer, so sent myself a bug report and had that major issue resolved within minutes.) As always, send general feedback and bug reports to webmaster@openneo.net so that we can continue to stay on top of things :)
Thanks for continuing to be awesome! Looks like the big, bad moving day is coming up soon :D
